Following the winter gales we had to take down a trellis and archway, and decided not to replace them. This opened up the ‘Mediterranean’ area |

| During the winter a mole appeared. We didn’t get mole hills but after watching it tunnel round two edges of the lawn we decided to get rid of the grass, and now have a more ornamental scene. | |||||||||
|
|
|
||||||||
|
The Spring borders looked good. Cowslips were out early in January and this year the birds didn’t peck at the crocus. |
|||||||||
|

|
Our addition to the bottom of the garden was the frog trio – complete with hidden cassette. |

|
Once again the auriculas never fail to please. This Spring there were several additions |
|||||||||
|
|
|
|
|||||||

|||||||||
|
The latest addition to the garden is a swinging hammock. Behind the hammock there is a bamboo screen, replacing some of the conifers |
|||||||||
|
|
|||||||||
|
Perhaps, now the garden makeover is complete, there will be time for that glass of wine ---- |
