The pond area
 

Digging out the pond - this went where we'd had the heather bed. Looking back we could have had the pond a bit further away from the house as we later had a conservatory, taking up the patio area.

second season

we were visited by herons - so had to add our own

The first waterfall was a trickle, and stayed for years

But in 2003 ' Niagara ' was installed
