MAY & JUNE

The garden colour just kept on getting better as the summer progressed. Apart from the normal weeding there hasn't been a great deal to do. Malc moved some roses from a small bed to grow against the fence as they seemed to be poor last year and yet another conifer was taken out, letting in more light. Below is a selection of photos taken in May.

June looked as though it would be a time for relaxing but we were lucky enough to have a summer of outings and so we didn't get too much time to sit outside. However each time we got back home the new colour was a pleasant surprise.
