MARCH & APRIL

After the long winter months it was great to see some colour in the garden and it turned out to be a good year for Spring flowers.

Malc spent some time halving the rockery and instead, built a retaining wall with the stones, and by re-using the pavers that were once round the pond, a new bed was created. We knew they would come in useful again one day.

Sunny days in April gave us more colour and the new flower bed began to look neater.

Sadly I had to decide to give up growing  auriculas as my allergy to contact with the plants is now more severe. Even wearing two pairs of gloves didn't help!! So these will probably be the last auricula pictures we take although they will still remain top of my list of favourite plants.
