OUR BACK GARDEN 2009

JANUARY & FEBRUARY

As the year started the Christmas decorations were put away, we had a sprinkling of snow, and hardly ventured into the garden, preferring the warmth indoors. Often the sunrise was spectacular.

February brought a cold spell, with plenty of snow and ice.

The pond was frozen over for a couple of weeks and the icicles grew longer every day.

The bird house looked very picturesque and our road became quite deserted.

  Suddenly the snow disappeared and at last it looked like Spring could be just around the corner
