Early Summer 2008
In May there was, as usual, a good display of primulas and auriculas in the garden as well as in the greenhouse. The auriculas in the troughs have grown well despite being outside in all conditions

As June arrived the frosts and snow were forgotten with summer colours taking over

This year the lilies did well before the gales and the aquilegias seemed to be spreading everywhere

There was plenty of flower on the foxgloves and ceanothus bush, and our osteospermum and astrantias started flowering early.

Unfortunately, once again the roses haven't yet done too well apart from this pale pink one

And finally - a few more views of the garden in June
